Easter programme 2017
We hope you will come and join with us over this most important Christian festival as we focus on God’s great love for us all. It is a week of remembrance and celebration as we recall the events that lead to the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Thursday 13th April 7.30pm “On the night he was betrayed.” A reflective and interactive retelling of Matthew 26— Jesus’ last hours
Good Friday 14th April 9.30am Our service will focus on the death of Jesus especially as we recall it from John’s Gospel.
Easter Sunday 16th April 10.00am – Celebration of Jesus’ resurrection including Communion. In this service we will look at some of the important symbols of the Christian faith which speak of the crucified and risen Jesus.
Art display in the courtyard. This year we will be highlighting significant Christian symbols: The fish, the cross, bread and wine, the Good Shepherd and the Staurogram. We hope to have these up this week.
