Flinders Street Baptist Church is a popular place for weddings.
The stunning heritage church with its beautiful interior provides a magnificent setting for a ceremony to remember, while its central location with easy access to the city’s gardens, hotels and reception centres makes it an attractive and convenient choice.
Ministers from other churches who are authorised celebrants are permitted to conduct wedding services in the church. Weddings in the church are set in the context of Christian worship, in which the bride and groom ask God to bless their marriage.
You are welcome to use your own musicians and the grand piano is available for use. If you wish to have an organist play on the day, you are welcome to bring your own.
Fees for weddings (as of 1st January 2020) :
Use of the Church with P.A. Operator – $750.00
Optional:
– Use of church’s artificial flowers – $30.00 – $50.00
Hall or courtyard for up to 2 hours for afternoon tea:
– Mead Hall (including kitchen) – $250.00
– Courtyard (including kitchen) – $150.00
